Chazblake is an alternative trance studio experiment by Seattle artist Phil Redding. The music was originally intended as backdrop music to Reddings' video projects. Offering was recorded in 2001 and is a part of a 15 music cd "Facing East". All of "Facing East's" materials are Chazblake's originals except for a Rolling Stone cover song "Play with Fire". Redding was a member of Bloodmobile with roots back in Manila months before martial law. The band performed in private parties doing Neil Young, Grandfunk, Free and Mott the Hoople covers. The band regrouped briefly in Seattle with Andre "Pavarotti" Tolentino on vocals. The group disbanded when drummer Tito "Skiddo" Molina moved back to L.A in 2001. Original lead guitar member Des Marsh Mumar is rumoured to be touring with Hot Dog. Chazblake is a departure from the cover band format with all original materials written, produced and performed by Chazblake. Check out http://www.myspace.com/chazblakemusic
